First update of 2008...
Well we had an ultrasound on January 3rd and found out that we are having a girl...Yeah!!!

Little Lily Parsons...still don't have a middle name yet. I was thinking of Grayce, but that is their cousin Angel's middle name and I am weird about names. Angel is too close a family member. I just can't use that as a middle name so we are still looking.
Everything is progressing wonderfully. The doctor wants me to work on gaining more weight, more like a pound a week. It seems to be really hard with my job. I did some research and when I work a double I burn between 1500 to 2000 calories a day walking and carrying the trays so I have to be eating a lot...and I mean A LOT!!!
Although I have now been experiencing braxton hicks contractions here over the last two weeks. The other day I had quite a few of them and it was a little bit scary...I don't remember having this many this soon with either of the boys. i figure this is my body's way of telling me to cut down on the double shifts and slow down a bit. It kind of sucks, since I am making really good money, but it will be okay in the end.
I am really thinking of getting those 3D/4D ultrasound. I have seen a few of them recently and I want to get one so bad. Yes it costs a bit of money but I think I am going to splurge and do it. Maybe with income tax money....
Here a few of the pics from the ultrasound....
You can see her long legs and her arm with her fist on her knee...little drummer girl..

You can see her feet here in this one...

Things on the homefront are going pretty well. Still just taking everything a day at a time, but things are going absolutely great. And honesty is the best policy. It really is...no matter what anyone says. I love Chad and am really happy with the way things are going right now. I just hope it keeps going in this direction and gets better...

Why Women Cry...
Why Women Cry
A little boy asked his mother, "Why are you crying?" "Because I'm a woman," she told him. "I don't understand," he said. His Mom just hugged him and said, "And you never will." Later the little boy asked his father, "Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?" "All women cry for no reason," was all his dad could say.
The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry. Finally he put in a call to God. When God got on the phone, he asked, "God, why do women cry so easily?"
God said:
"When I made the woman she had to be special. I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world, yet gentle enough to give comfort.
I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times comes from her children.
I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up, and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining.
I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even when her child has hurt her very badly.
I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart.
I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.
And finally, I gave her a tear to shed. This is hers exclusively to use whenever it is needed."
"You see my son," said God, "the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart - the place where love resides."
