Me

This is my place. Someplace I can go and kind of keep my thoughts, dreams, and anything about life in general. Whatever I want, I can say it here. If I don't want the public to view it, it will be made private. Take no offense if you cannot read something. Somethings are meant to be kept to ones self.

Some more...

Here are a few pictures and video clips from my phone taken over the last few months...

Here is Lily and her first taste of baby cereal...

Lily's first stroller ride
Lily loves to be outside, this past weekends camping trip proved it even more. If she starts to get fussy sometimes all I have to do is walk outside and she stops. She loves the wind blowing and to watch the trees and everything around her outside, well except for the sun being in her eyes, but who likes that?!

Sitting in her Bumbo.
I bought this Bumbo for lily case she always wanted to sit up, but of course couldn't on her own. My friend Reagan said her daughter Aubrey loved hers so I thought I'd try it out. She loved it!
Thanks Reagan for the great idea!

First picture of all three kids together.
Lily loves her big brothers (and they love her too). She loves watching them and laughing at them. i do have to admit, they are pretty goofy. Sometimes I can't help but laugh at them too!

Here is Lily looking at herself in the mirror for the first time.
She loves looking at the baby in the mirror. She doesn't realize that it is her yet but she will;-)

Too much to write...

I figure as much as I want to go back and write about everything that has happened over the past few months, that is seriously just going to be too hard to do, if I want to do it right. So I'm just going to briefly go over them and if I forgot something, I will add it later... That is the best way I can do this...

Baseball ended at the end of June for both of the boys. Dawson is now playing fall ball with his last game this coming Saturday, and Dad doesn't really know if he even wants to play next year. I won't push him, it is completely up to him, but my rule is, once you sign up, you will finish she season. No quitting.

Here are a few baseball pics of the boys...

I told them to pose however they wanted to and this is what i got.
I love it!!

I thought it was cool that their shirts together spelled out 911!
Nothing but trouble! Lol!

Just a cute one of them together...

More will come later as I have time...sometimes more than one post a day...

It's been a while....

So...we haven't had the net since the end of May...wow...I have some major updating to do...Give me a week or two (maybe three) and I'll get it all on here, just hang tight...I promis it will get done.  If you want to see some pics of Lily, you can check them out on my myspace at myspace.com/aquarius716.  I believe they are public right now...  Not much has gone on, but then again I say that and then once I see what has gone on, I think, "dang...that's a lot of crap..."  Lily seems to be learning something new, trying something new every day...they grow up too darn fast...

Well I'm going to get off of here for now and I'll start my updates real soon....I promise...

Not much going on...

Well there isn't really much going on...lots of baseball...(Dawson had 4 games the week after Lily was born and I only missed 1!!), weather that needs to be just a little warmer (supposed to get up in the 70's and 80's) and Dade's graduation zoo trip...okay so I guess more than I though has actually gone on...Lol!

Dade's graduation zoo trip...

All the kids who are moving on to kindergarten got to go the Columbus zoo and Chad
went as a chaperone...and they all had such a blast. Chad and Dade even stuck around the zoo after all the other kids left to see a few things they didn't have time to see earlier. Dade said his favorite things to see were the Lion, Tiger, Rhino and the Alligators. He didn't get to see the Zebra's, Giraffes, and he wanted to ride the boat and get cotton candy. We are planning a family trip to the zoo for the summer and I told him we would put them on our list of things to do.

Dade and some of the graduates...

And again....

Dade, Chance, Brandon and Emma...

Dade "petting" a corn snake...

Dade riding a pony....

Lily...

Well her weight is up to 8 lbs. 3 oz., so she has gained a full pound since we left the hospital! Yeah! I figured as much since she eats ALL OF THE TIME!!! I am serious. If she is awake, then she is most likely eating...and my poor boobies...Lol! Of course I take pictures of her all the time...

Lily all dressed up in yellow...

Mommy and Lily asleep...
this happens quite a bit...

Dade holding his little sister...
he and Dawson are constantly wanting to hold her,
talk and sing to her and give her hugs and kisses.
They are wonderful big brothers and a lot of help!

Some other random pictures...

Dade wearing Daddy's coat!

Looks like he belongs to the mafia...
better watch it, he may have to take you out...

Lily Jade Parsons

On May 10th, 2008 at 5:49pm, Chad and I welcomed Lily Jade Parsons into the world. She weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz. and was 20 inches long.

We went to bed late, as usual. (Decided on some late night nookie...you know to try and get the baby out (Lol!). ) Chad fell asleep and I started to have some mild contractions, which was no big deal. I had been having contractions for weeks that had led to nothing. I timed them just in case though, cause you never know. At about 4:30 or 5 am, they started to get a little stronger, so I decided to get up and walk around. They tell you that if they still keep up and get regular then they may be real contractions. So I wanted to check that out. I got last minute stuff together for my hospital bag, got the boys' baseball uniforms together (since they both had games that next day), checked my email, and started to clean a bit. About 7 am I think, I woke Chad up telling him I think we needed to go to the hospital. He got the boys up, got the car loaded, called his brother and we got to the hospital between 8 and 9 am. They put me on the monitors and after a bit, although I the contractions were still pretty strong, they were no longer regular and I hadn't dilated or effaced any more. So I headed back home disappointed. I went home to get some rest and Chad took the boys to the ball field for Dawson's game at 1. I tried to get some sleep, but just as I had drifted off, the contractions started again at about 1:30 or so. Soon they were regular at about 6 or 7 minutes apart again and seemed to be a lot stronger. So, again I got up and walked around. This time, they definitely got stronger and were about 5 minutes apart so I called my Dr. again. She told me to wait until they were regular at 5 minutes apart for about 2 hours. At this point, it had only been about 30 minutes. The pain of the contractions seemed unbearable and I called Chad at the ball field. I was scared and didn't want to be at the house alone anymore. When he got home (after making arrangements for the boys) and I told him what the Dr said about waiting 2 hours, he said no, and I could call the Dr on the way, which I did. he then called back and had them call the hospital to have a wheelchair ready for me because there was no way I was going to be able to walk up to the 3rd floor. We got to the hospital (at 4:10pm), and a nurse wheeled me up to the 3rd floor while Chad parked the car. When they got me back into the room (the same one I was in earlier), they checked me and I was at 4 cm (instead of 3). If my water hadn't been broken at the house, it broke within a half hour of us being at the hospital. They had admitted me this time, instead of just observing me (YEAH!!!). They started my IV and gave me antibiotics (for the strep B that tested positive (no biggie)) and then some nubain (sp?) to take the edge off, but I only think it really made me kind of loopy... The nurse checked me again and i remember her saying something about getting the Dr. All I could think was epidural time...so I asked, and they replied, "oh honey, you don't have time for an epidural...she is ready..." Chad said the look on my face was complete and total horror. I remember thinking there was no way I was going to be able to have this baby without an epidural!! They started getting the bed ready and kept telling me NOT to push during my contractions, which were now coming so fast, they were basically one on top of another...I wanted to push so bad, I almost felt like I had to hold my breath to keep from pushing, but at the same time I HAD to breath... Everything was happening so fast that I couldn't think straight. they got me in the stirrups and all ready and said to push with the next contraction...time seemed to stop for just a moment and to me it seemed like the contractions had just stopped ...I just wasn't ready for this all natural!! The next contraction came and I pushed, but not really. I was holding back because I was flipping out on the inside! I finally pushed, I mean really pushed and Chad said it took like 3 pushes and Lily was here! I do remember feeling her come out and being relieved that it was over... it did hurt, i won't lie to you, but it was all over in an instant, and I didn't even tear!! next was the placenta...I don't remember this with the boys, mainly because I had the epidural...but apparently mine didn't want to leave me... I guess the problem was that my bladder was full and because of that, the placenta wasn't releasing which looked to me like it was causing a lot of blood (Chad said it flipped him out too)...but once she relieved my bladder, it was fine and the heavy bleeding stopped and the placenta came out as well...
Right after Lily was born, they put her on my chest while they started cleaning her. I was honestly in shock. I couldn't believe it had happened so fast. I couldn't believe I had my baby girl already. Plus I was still a little loopy from the Nubain, Lol! So that is the story as I remember it. I can now say that I have experienced natural child birth. Not that I want to do that again, but it wasn't horrible. It was over so fast, and now it is all just a memory and Lily Jade Parsons made it all worth it! (and I truly believe that sex will bring on labor!! lol!!)

All goopy eyed...

On my chest right after delivery...

Daddy has his little princess to go with his princes...

Wide awake...

So angelic looking...

Dade's first T Ball game

Sunday May 4th was Dade's first T Ball game. It definitely went a lot smoother that I was expecting it to. We only had 5 kids show up that could play. Zach being such a great sport showed up to support his teammates and sheer them on, even though he couldn't play (He had hurt his had earlier in the week). Playing only two innings, they were so ready to be finished! They were so cute!!

Dade being Mr. Cool while we wait for the game before us to finish...

In the Dugout, getting ready for the game!

Dade being a little...

Bored...Lol!!

And he hit the ball!!!

Zack...rooting his teammates on!!

Stay tuned for more baseball...that was just the first game of the season...and many many more follow...Lol!

Still waiting...

Okay. So this little girl needs to make up her mind and come out to meet the world. One minute I am having lots of contractions, wondering if it is time to go to the hospital and the next nothing. Lol! I have tried walking, and have been cleaning like a mad woman (or as much as I can) around here. I figure i had better get it finished now, while I can and have the time to do it! Lol! We all know once she arrives, between caring for her, practically living at the ball field, and trying to rest...that doesn't leave much time for anything else. That, is the life of a mom! I love it though. I wouldn't trade it for anything...not even all the money in the world!

We have finally made some headway on the stack of boxes driving me nuts...Chad restacked some, we repacked some and we will just keep working on it. Slowly but surely they will get done. As long as we are making a little progress here and there, then I won't let it bug me too much. We just need to figure out what to keep, find a place for it, what to store, and what to get rid of...which is a HUGE task. You seriously never know how much crap you have until you move...
Hopefully the next time we move it will be into a house that we have bought! That would be nice!
